Mike Brown answers the question, “Why have you gravitated in your career to law firm lateral partner recruiting work? Do you enjoy working with law firms and attorneys?”

"Definitely, after fifty-two years of working with law firms and their partners in my offices, their offices and in courtrooms, nationally and internationally, applying my accumulated expertise and experience to further a law practitioner's career and contribute to the building of prestigious law firms gives me great satisfaction.”

The most demanding reviewers, the law firms and partners whom Mike has served, have recognized him for his placement and recruiting efforts. Over the years, they have provided him with a continuous stream of referrals.

Prior to co-founding Lavalla & Brown, he has operated, financed, acquired and sold companies in a variety of industries as a principal and as an advisor to principals. He has served on the Boards of Directors of public and private, for profit and not for profit companies.

Mike received his MBA, Finance and Entrepreneurial Management, from Harvard Business School in 1970 and his BA in American History from Harvard College in 1968.

Mike cherishes his involvement with youth, high school and college sports, as a player and coach.
